Why do you want to join these classes?:

• Potions - Because thanks to Wolfsbane her transformations every full moon are more bearable so she wants to learn the Art of potion making (so she can eventually make her on when she leaves Hogwarts)
  
• Care of Magical Creatures - because she loves animals, and would love to eventually have a job dealing with them in some way [s]maybe even teach the subject?[/s]
  
• Charms - She loves wand work rather than most of the hands on subjects, so this is one of her more favourable subjects
  
• History of Magic - growing up in a Muggle household she didnt grow up with people who knew all of this so she wants to leanr as much as she can about the History of it all whilst she has the chance.
  
• Muggle Studies - Yes she grew up with Muggles, but she wants to see them from a magical persons view, see how it is right/wrong, and just see those she grew up with in the eyes of those she is now one of and will be surrounded by for the rest of her life.

Why do you want to join these classes?:
- DADA: Father and brother are both Auror's and Landen loves the idea of dueling, even if it's just for fun, but realizes that he might need to actually know what to defend himself from and how to do so.

-Potions: Landen loves mixing things up and seeing what all he can throw in a cauldron and make.

-Ancient Runes: He has always loved the thought of learning runes and their meanings

-Divination: Runes can be tied into Divination and can be an excellent way to interpret what has, had and will happen. He's also fascinated with what the future holds and tarot.

Name: Ailey Walker

Why do you want to join these classes?:

Charms: When you live the way Ailey does, charms and spells are a great way to get clean, make yourself presentable and figure out short cuts to difficult areas. Charms have always fascinated her in their ability to make her life easier, and she managed to get an Exceeds Expectations in her OWL class.

DADA: Even though she's a Slytherin, Ailey values protecting herself from the people who will harm her out there. She loved DADA so much she got an Outstanding on her OWL and decided to continue with her education.

Divination: Not many people go for their NEWT in Divination, but Ailey has always loved the class. She finds it comforting and relaxing, and enjoys all the time she can get up there, even stopping to say hello to the professor. With such a happy mood brought by the class, Ailey decided that after getting an Outstanding on her OWL, she would continue her education on the classes.

Potions(Unofficially): Ailey has always found a fascination in potion making. Throwing random bits and bobbles into a cauldron and watching them transform and change in front of her very eyes, she's spent many hours perfecting potions and learning new ones. Getting an Outstanding on her OWL was enough to get her into Professor Moor's class, and she seized the opportunity.

Care of Magical Creatures(Unofficially): Ailey loves animals. She always has, she takes her cat with her everywhere she can, and would bring the pet to classes if they let her. She had no idea of magical creatures before attending Hogwarts, but poured over books about Dragons and Mermaids through her entire first year. She got an Exceeds Expectations in her OWL and it was enough to let her continue Care of Magical Creatures, so she decided to further her education, not knowing where she wanted to end up.

Why do you want to join these classes?:
DADA: Eva was kidnapped during her seventh year by the Death Eaters for a potion that she had managed to create that in turn ended up being the infamous Garu Moss while trying to come up with a potion to make the werewolf transformation stopped. She wants to learn how to better defend herself.

Potions: Eva had made O's in all of her OWL's in potions and at one point had decided she might want to be a potion maker as it came fairly easy for her. She wishes to continue her studies in this.

History of Magic (Unofficially): Eva wanted to take the class to NEWT level as few people wanted to.

Potions - Katie loves Potions, she'd always been fascinated with the different effects a Potion can have on a person if brewed correctly. She's very gifted at Potions and loves making them!
DADA- Although her cousin Tyler is a Auror, Katie is very good at DADA receiving a Outstanding on her OWLs she took advance DADA tol learn more advance spells.
Charms- Katie's third best subject, Katie was always fascinated by the many charms you could use on something even if its hard or easy.
CoMC- Katie always loved animal of all kinds, magical or non magical she feels that she has a connec chi with animals.

Potions-Ausin loves Potions, he loves combining things and seeing what it turns into!
DADA -with his grandfather, his father and his big brother being Auror's Austin has some big shoes to fill, but he always wants to know how to defend himself if needed.
CoMC - This was one thing Austin always had a soft spot for, and that was animals of all kinds, Austin loves animals of any and all kinds!

Muggle Studies, - she wants to learn all about the people with which her aunt Hermione and uncle Harry grew up with, well the type of people (i.e. muggles) withough having to just ask them
Potions, - she enjoys this subject, but is more taking it so she can become an auror if it is her final decision
History of Magic - she loves this subject, she loves learning about history. Even if her relatives fought in the latest thing on the curriculum.

Care of Magical Creatures – Aggy has always enjoyed the class. She is enthusiastic and has found she's often comfortable around the beasties.

Potions - Needed for NEWTS.

Trasnfiguration – Aggy wants to learn to transfigure herself, though far beyond Crinus Muto. She wants to learn hi-bred transfiguration.


History of Magic - History of Magicis a required class for all students attending Hogwarts. The class is a study of magical history. History of Magic is taught from the first year to the fifth, with the option of N.E.W.T.courses in the sixth and seventh years.

Defense Against the Dark Arts – This is a class that is ALWAYS, ALWAAAYS a good one to take. One must know how to protect themselves from the dark arts after all.

Astronomy – Having received an Outstanding in Astronomy the previous year, Aggy has decided to take it again this year. Truth of it was, she found this class to be fun and interesting. Plotting star charts, and researching facts about distant planets and their moons has always interested her.

Why do you want to join these classes?:

Potions - Received an outstanding in Potions glass at his Owls and has an avid interests in the discreet qualities of various potions, as well as their healing effects.

Charms - The practical aspects of charms in every day life is always useful. He received an "Exceeds expectations" grade.

History of Magic - Terran believes that properly understanding the past is the key to unlocking the future. True power is hidden in the annals of history and in order to understand what may be long forgotten, one must know the history and everything relevant to it. Grade - Exceeds expectations

DatDA - His valued interests in dark magic of course leads Terran to want to study this class! How else is to learn to defend himself, and in his own time learn to cast the very spells he is defending against? Grade - Outstanding

Care of magical creatures - The wizarding world is not all spells, however. Creatures inhabit that, both dark and light. A true understanding of such creatures is vital to achieve his ambitions. Grade - Exceeds expectations

Why do you want to join these classes?:
Astronomy - He finds stars and celestial bodies fascinating, and very beautiful, and would love to specialise in this subject when he's older. And besides, the classes are at night, so he has an excuse to not sleep.
Potions - Doing experiments is something that appeals to him, and the effects of some potions are really fascinating - he really enjoys the theory as well as the practical.
Herbology - Plants are restful, and he likes finding out about their properties and how they can be used, as well as coming up with his own theories on how they evolved (though he never mentions this in class).
History of Magic - As he didn't grow up learning about magic, he feels that he needs to catch up and find out all he can about it.
Charms - Honestly, this is mostly just for fun. He likes to entertain himself with the spells in his spare time.
Arithmancy - It's just like maths, which he's always loved and he actually missed doing when he couldn't.
Ancient Runes - It's something he finds tricky, so he has fun challenging himself. Also, he likes the mystery of it - it's like trying to solve a detective book, in his opinion.
DAtDA - He wants to learn how to protect himself, so people are less likely to mess with him and he can defend himself from bullies or others who might do him harm.

COMC: Layla loves creatures of all shapes and sizes, and has been exposed to magical and non-magical creatures all her life. She one day wishes to open her own pet store, so this is an important class.

Muggle Studies: Going along with her love of animals, Layla understands that Muggles play an important part in non-magical animals, so she wishes to learn more about them, having grown up in a predominantly wizarding household.

Ancient Runes: Her future career really set in stone what classes she took, and knowing that some magical creatures go along with some cultures, she decided Ancient Runes was extremely important in her future career.

Astronomy: Layla loves the stars, and it's mythical and cultural background to animals, so she continued with this class into her NEWT years.

Charms: In Layla's chosen career path, it's important to know every type of charm there is to make her life easier.

Herbology: It's essential for Layla to understand certain plants for her career choice.

Potions: Some creatures need special potions in order to heal, so Layla knows she has to take these classes to make those potions.
